Content Writer for economics and finance topics - Students welcome!

Hi Freelancers

I am looking for:

· Reliable freelance writers who can produce on-time and on-brief content for our Australian audiences.

· We're searching for student as well as professional writers who can take on between 1-2 articles per week and work toward project-specific deadlines.

· Viable candidates must have excellent written English and experience writing specifically for Australian audiences.

·

This role collaborates with colleagues in Melbourne, New Delhi and London. So, you'd have to work in different time-zones.

Selection criteria

· I will only review proposals that have included previous work experiences or examples of their recent writing. Note: please provide a quote for each article. For example: If you like to charge AUD$10 for one article, please write $10.

· Short-listed candidates will be given a writing task. All candidates will be given the same topic. (Note: all candidates will be paid a nominal amount for their time. I do not believe in free work!)

· Selected candidates will be given 1-2 blogs a week and an opportunity to receive mentorship from finance professionals.

· Payments will be made within 24 hrs after each task is completed (article)

Example Topic

Topic: Pricing in the aviation sector (500-600 words)

· How the airline industry uses dynamic pricing models (eg prices change every minute)

· Research how various airlines are pricing their products (tickets)

· competition and role of substitutes (eg trains)

· Role of brokers such as sky scanner

· Resources: See economist articles attached.
