PRESTO Translation Centre, based in Prague, the Czech Republic, is looking for experienced freelance translators and proofreaders for long- term cooperation for the following language combinations:
1. Spanish into Arabic;
2. French into Arabic.
We are looking for translators who have previous experience with translating general documents related to international cooperation and relations and human rights, who will be available to translate approximately 200 standard pages during June 2018.
REQUIREMENTS
1) willingness to take a short translation test (approximately 500 words, free of charge), which will be provided to you shortly after your application
2) native speaker of Arabic
3) at least three years’ experience with professional translation (and/or revision)
4) University degree in linguistics or translation would be preferable but not compulsory
5) knowledge of CAT programmes (Memsource and/or Trados) or willingness to learn to use them.
We are offering the following rates: 0,07 USD per source word for translations from Spanish into Arabic; and 0,05 USD per source word from French into Arabic.
