WHAT WE WANT / BACKGROUND
The company is called Kirvi (www.kirvi.fo) and we are looking to do a re-branding of our current bottles.
To do this, we are looking for a designer to help make a new label design for our Still Water bottle.
Note: we want you to be completely creatively free - i.e., do not make something similar to the current label design of our bottles. We are doing this because we want a new design and aesthetic.
THE COMPANY STORY + THE STORY BEHIND THE WATER SOURCE
Kirvi started producing water-bottles in 2015, based out of a small village in the Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. Lopra, the small village, has only 86 citizens. The water itself comes from a natural spring source inside of the pyramid-shaped Kirvi Mountain. This mountain filters rain through its 55 million year old layers made of solidified lava. These layers of basalt are rich in minerals and give the water a unique composition with a naturally occurring pH-value of 8.3, meaning that Kirvi is naturally exceptional drinking water.
Additional information / Clarification:
1) The water comes from a 55 million year old mountain that is made from volcanic rock (called bassalt)
2) The water filters through the volcanic rock and comes out mineralized and pure to drink
3) The water runs down from the mountain down to the factory; meaning we do not have to "extract" the water, but it is instead "gravity fed." This makes the process of extracting the water sustainable.
4) The water has a pH value of 8.3
DESIGN STYLE
This is up to you. The bottle will be made from plastic. The target audience is the general public and the brand should skew more high-end. It is important that the bottle is elegant to look at and that it conveys a story (see "Design Elements" and "Kirvi's Brand Values / Brand Personality" below for inspiration on story)
DESIGN ELEMENTS

- [Required] It should say "Still Water" somewhere
- [Required] It should include the "Kirvi" logo somewhere (the logo is attached)
- [Required] It should say "pH 8.3" somewhere
- [Required] There needs to be space for a barcode
- [Required] There needs to be space for a small ingredients list (Composition [mg/litre]: pH 8.3. Nitrate 0.32. Hardness (total) 4.2 dH. Calcium (Ca) 27. Chloride 52. Fluoride 0.07. Sulphate 8.0. Hydrogen carbonate 60.9. Sodium (Na) 29. Magnesium (Mg) 1.7. Iron (Fe) < 0.01.)

COLOR PREFERENCE
The label predominantly needs to be in varied shades of blue, aiming at creating a cohesive and visually striking look. Suggestion for Primary Color is "3E4C6B". Also open for suggestions here for alternative colors.
BOTTLE SIZE
Normal bottle 0.5L plastic bottle. You can see what the current plastic bottle looks like on the website.
IDEAL CANDIADTE
An experienced graphic designer with a strong portfolio in label design is highly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of design for consumer goods, especially for a broad audience for a brand that skews high-end, is preferred.
