Banner for TagLab

Hi there, Attaching the banner design below. I personally think the visual of the banner doesn’t need to be that complicated. It won't be mobile-friendly at all. The current design you provided is more like a process map for people who have technical knowledge to read. I think we can simplify the visual by focusing on what the user needs to do and what outcome they can get. If you want to provide further details of the process, I suggest you attach a separate process image to the blog. I also had a scan of your homepage, and all the CTA buttons are using different messages - Tags scan - Sign up free - Explore now - Sign up From UX POV this is not the best practice, people are expected to see what they clicked, eg they won’t know in order to scan you have to sign up, also in order to explore they have to sign up too. So I suggest to make all language of the button has the same function consistent.

    Hi Cecily,

I really appreciate the thoughts. The homepage is less important for now since I have traffic mostly landing on the blog page.

I didn't intend the current design to be entirely a process focused. This is what other freelancers produced, but it's not good enough.

    Few things:
    - can we have a doodle for a call to action on the website thumbnail you provided? (this simbolically represents conversions)
    - instead of the icons on the circle (sheild, data base..), can we use tag icons? (for example Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Facebook)
    - in the thumbnail you provided for taglab interface, can we show the data layer, with few signs that taglab is validating the data layer? (https://taglab.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/data-layer-view.png)
    - not sure if we can reduce the height, this is a horizontal banner that needs to go on the blog (and I intend to make it sticky as users scroll)

Please let me know your thoughts. I think we can build on this.

    Thank you

      No worries!
      Poin 2,3 I can address.

Point 1 I don't really get what you mean by doodle for the call to action.

Point 4 - I can change the height. but I don’t think u need this banner as a sticky, you already got a sticky header with the call to action - Although I think u should change the header call to action to “sign up” or “free sign up” for better UX. if your blog page is really long you can consider inject the CTA/banner in between the paragraphs when relevant
