<Technology Description>
This technology is related to vehicle roll control. Roll control refers to the control of the left-right tilt of the vehicle body, called roll.
Vehicle control technology is known to control the vehicle so that it travels on a target track. If this vehicle control technology allows the vehicle to travel on a track that is inclined laterally to the vehicle, gravity may cause the vehicle to gradually move downward and off the track. In that case, the vehicle control technology re-controls the vehicle to return to the target track. Repeatedly doing this causes the vehicle to meander, causing discomfort to the occupants.
To solve this problem, this technology uses vehicle control technology to control the roll of the vehicle so that meandering due to inclination is reduced when the vehicle is traveling on a track that is inclined laterally to the vehicle.
