We will need a cover illustrated for an upcoming children's book.

The concept is of a little black school girl with magic afro/curly hair and a fairy God mother who has curly hair who helps her to discover the power of her hair.

Attached is a reference image of the type of style/quality we would like for the illustration. We would like the cover to really 'sell' the idea of the little girl's hair (whose name is Heaven) being magic, enchanted etc.

The competition winner will also get to illustrate the contents of the book and this is an ongoing project with 9 more instalments in the works for the series.

  Hi yes the godmother would need to be shown we want quite a modern look for the godmother, an older black woman perhaps around 40 with long hair or an afro and elegantly dressed. Hope this helps
