A modern and unique deck-building card game that pays homage to the traditional deck of playing cards.

Asking for concept designs for character cards, which are the central cards of the game. Character cards are based on the traditional bi-directional jacks queens and kings (heads and torsos to waist only, on each half of the card), but with modern artwork. Each suit’s characters resemble a different ethnicity. Each character has a different personality. These cards can be rotated 180 degrees to show a “corrupted” or evil version of the character on the other half of the card (with a darker background)

Choose two characters from the following:
- a queen of hearts, whose “good” side holds 2 coins, whose “evil” side doesn’t. She is proud, posh, and a traditional queen figure. The dominant colours are red and gold.
- a king of spades, whose “good” side holds 3 playing cards, whose “evil” side doesn’t. He is powerful, serious, and dark-skinned. The dominant colours are black and blue.
- a jack of clubs, whose “good” side holds a key, whose “evil” side doesn’t. He is mischievous, handsome and muscular. The dominant colours are black and silver.

The winner of the best character cards will be offered a paid contract to complete artwork for the rest of the cards, as well as the initial monetary prize.
