I was having struugle with setting boundry counditions and getting reasonable results in ANSYS CFD Flow Fluent. Pankaj helped me with learning how to do solar thermal analysis by using CFD. He also taught me few shortcuts which gained me a lot of time and lowered my burden. He spent a lot more time for tutoring than doing the work on his own and helped regarding my budget. He is politely open to negotiate. He is an easy going and patient person to learn things from.

Numerical Analysis of the Heat and Fluids Flow Performance of Cuo-nanofluids in Flat Tube with Bend

Revue des Composites et des Materiaux Avances
Performance of flat tube bent at 90⁰ was compared with performance of straight flat tube under same conditions. It was observed that heat performance of nanofluids under different volume concentrations between 0.1 % to 0.4 % v/v of nanoparticles is better than that of base fluids and also increased by almost 19-20 % due to presence of bend in between flat tube. The study also proves that use of nanofluids can play very important role in decreasing overall size of heat transfer systems.

The nanofluid was passed through a virtual 3D model of a flat tube. Advantages of using nanofluids instead of pure base fluid were evaluated. The thermophysical properties of the nanofluid were calculated using correlations developed from experimental work. It was observed that the heat transfer performance increased with increase in particle concentration, temperature and Reynolds number.
