I thrive on challenges. That’s what got me hooked on information and technology security. One needs to solve technical puzzles on one hand, and people puzzles on the other hand. All while time is of the essence.
I can thus leverage my hands-on knowledge and experience in IT/Cloud infrastructure in understanding risks and approaching vulnerability assessments. And at the same time, dedicate myself to achieving business objectives by adapting messages to audiences and expectations. In this process, I am willing to have difficult conversations. With people from all over the world, with different backgrounds and roles.
I learnt about myself that I can effectively manage and prioritize workloads and resources, monitor performance against objectives, anticipate and put steps in place to mitigate issues, and act as a liaison between multiple teams and external parties. And I’ve been cultivating these skills ever since.
I went a step forward and took the challenge to found my own company with two partners. You can guess by now what part I played: putting things together and pushing it forward. It was a valuable experience.
Here is my area of expertise that helped in driving results:
• SOC2, Governance, risk and compliance (GRC), Vulnerability Assessment, Data Privacy
• Rapid7, Qualys, IBM QRadar, Splunk, Cloudflare
• IT infrastructure
• AWS, Azure
• Virtualization
• Network & Cloud Security
