Hello, I'm François Douilly, I have 9 years experience in software testing field, i started just after finishing my engineering studies. Over the years in international companies, I have been able to develop an expertise level in the position of Test Automation Engineer. I also discovered the different testing professions, I worked 3 years as a test analyst. I practiced agile development during my missions in bank and insurance companies. I realized tests automation Proof Of Concept for the group showcase smartphone application in 2013. The first smartphone tests automation in this company. Agile development implies frequently deliveries with acceptance phases, automated regression tests help test managers by providing fast quality reporting. In my last mission I built a new automation specialists team to meet the needs of my customer test managers in their acceptance phases. I advise them to identify the tests that are good candidates to automate, estimate the workload and the time saved compare to manual tests. I ensure the automated regression tests merge into delivery processes of each application by developing tools allowing automatic running and send pre-analysis reporting to the project team. I provide training courses, give the good practices of development to guarantee a simple maintenance of tests and give charts allowing to calculate the workload. Thanks to this new team and the new methods established, i enhanced the image of automation at this client which now allows testing department to gain new projects.
