The gearbox cased was designed by Krupp one of the leading engineering companies in Germany merged in 1999 with Thyssen AG, currently developing as large conglomerated ThyssenKrupp AG relevant engineering solutions for Mining Industry, automotive, aerospace... https://www.thyssenkrupp.com/en/company/history

The current drawing of the gearbox as shown in the photo was developed by Antonio Baron as an exercise to improve skills converting the drawing to digital format.

Project Scope

The client required the design and fabrication of 4 cable drum stands of high and medium voltage capable to withstand 6T with adjustable spindle sizes, budget AUD$4000/drum stand and 3 weeks timeframe for design and fabrication.

* Calculations for spindle, bearings, and frame
* Detail design
* 3rd Party certification
* Fabrication

Project Scope

A new location for an overhead crane was decided and required structural reinforcement of the building to withstand the loads developed by the inertia of the crane. A detailed design of the new building and placement of the crane was required including certified structural calculations that were carried on by a 3rd party organisation and detail design to be delivered on time quality and budget.

The project therefore included:
* Definition of the reinforcement and materials
* Detail design
* Certification

Produce the detail design of 5kPa dead load access platform galvanised to be delivered in 4 weeks from purchase order according to the defined budget. From the concept design layout, the final design must meet the requirements of space, modular assembly bolted together. Minimum or not welding of members should be carried on site.

* Detail design for manufacturing to Australian materials
* Structural calculations
* Certification of drawings.

Improve an existing design of a barrier wall so that it adjusts/extends in width

Antonio did an exceptional job which far surpassed my expectations! I am thrilled with the end result. I now have a design prototype which is far better than I could have ever imagined. The Drawings and Plans Antonio generated are very professional and with FEA analysis along the way. He even picked up some issues with the previous FEA report that was completed by a previous Engineer for the previous designs. I highly recommend Antonio and will be using him again for any upcoming projects.
