I moved to Alaska in 2012 to start a Civil Engineering career, but quickly found that I enjoy the drafting and software side of things more than anything else. On top of the 5 years of experience as a working EIT (eligible for P.E. but I never pursued the license), I've spent the last 5 years drafting and completing EIT level tasks for engineering and surveying firms both locally and remotely.
