Ms. Akiljonova works in the Advisory Risk & Regulatory department of BDO. She was involved in the projects for the implementation of banking supervisory requirements for risk management in the credit and financial services institutions and in the projects for the execution of internal audit functions. She previously worked in the Audit & Assurance department of BDO, where she was responsible for carrying out audits of the annual and interim financial statements of the companies of various sizes and sectors. Before joining BDO, she worked in the Business Process Solutions department of Deloitte, where she was responsible for the preparation financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards. In addition to her practical experience, she has solid theoretical knowledge in auditing, finance and accounting, which she acquired during her FACTS Master's degree at the Free University.
