Music composer and sound designer

Born in 1989 in Greece, Alex Raptis has been working in the Theater and Film industry since 2012. His main areas of interest are theater directing, light design and music composition. He received his BA in Theater arts at the National University of Theater and Cinematography in Bucharest, and after that he completed a Master of Arts in Sound & Light design at the same university. His musical interests include Jazz, Electronica, Soundscape, Film score and Experimental. The book that i have published is addressed to people that are interested in learning about sound design a composer, musician or a novice sound engineer. It contains all the elementary concepts that you need to know regarding sound, the human ear, the propagation of sound, audio synthesis, recording and how audio equipment, such as microphones and mixers, really work. It also presents a wide variety of common practices and tips and tricks.
