##### Lead System Engineer (Principal Engineer)
* Worked on several projects for this developer of rugged computers for Army tactical environments, generally as the system engineer responsible for defining all technical requirements and specifications. Projects include:
* Upgrade for rugged laptop/servers for radio control in tactical vehicles, an effort including all system requirements definition, software lead, and generation of most CDRL documentation such as Logistics Analysis inputs.
* USB drive with FIPS 140-2 encryption ruggedized for tactical environments.
* Demonstration version of High Assurance Cross-Domain Guard (CDG) compatible with existing product line of rugged PCs.
* Rugged handheld computer with built-in satcom, Wi-Fi, GPS, and high-contrast display.
* Combined Type I Suite B Inline Network Encryptor (INE) and CDG in small form factor.
* Upgrade of rugged PC for tactical vehicles to incorporate new (BFT2) satcom and RFID interrogator.
* Led several engineering technology and process improvement efforts, including monthly sessions on system engineering processes and techniques, and introductory Information Assurance (IA) training for engineering teams using self-taught information.

* Developed system-level (Matlab) models for a new network-centric waveform and presented results to Army customer, demonstrating feasibility and significantly contributing to the program win. Models included all relevant aspects of the waveform including Army platform locations, terrestrial link propagation models, waveform control protocols and networking factors (routing, source characteristics, etc.).
