Rahman HAKIM, esteemed member of PII and AFEO, has garnered a rich academic background in Mechanical Engineering. He proudly holds an Associate Degree and Bachelor of Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia, complemented by a Master of Science from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan, achieved in 2011 and 2016, respectively. Hakim further fortified his credentials by attaining a professional license as an Engineer from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2021.
Presently, Hakim serves as both a lecturer and researcher within the Mechanical Engineering Department's Manufacture Program Study at State Polytechnique of Batam. In this dual role, he actively contributes to the academic landscape by imparting knowledge, conducting research, and nurturing the next generation of engineers. Simultaneously, Hakim assumes the responsibility of a forensic engineer for the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in Indonesia. His expertise in this realm enables him to meticulously analyze engineering failures, offering invaluable insights to enhance project outcomes. Additionally, Hakim has leveraged his expertise as a consultant, providing guidance in legal drafting and manufacturing processes.
Hakim's professional interests revolve around Manufacture Engineering and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with a specialization in fire protection systems within construction. His fervent dedication to these areas reflects his commitment to advancing industry standards and fostering sustainable growth within the field.
