Verifying my email address

Freelancer.com verifies your email address and sends you a verification email as soon as you sign up. This is done to confirm that the email you registered is valid. This is also typically required before you can bid or start posting projects in the site.

 

Check your inbox and click “Verify your email address” on the email we sent you. If you have not completed the verification yet, you will see the banner below in your Freelancer.com account.

If you did not receive the email, you can resend the email through the
Resend Email button found in the banner. Whitelisting noreply@freelancer.com is recommended to ensure our emails reach your Inbox.

 

If you have entered an incorrect email address during sign up, click on the Need Help link on the banner to see the option to modify your email address.

 

 

The option to get your email verified is also available on your Account Settings page:

1. Click your profile picture thumbnail from the main menu bar, and click Settings.

 

2. Select the Email & Notifications tab.

 

3. Click verify your email address.

 

4. Check for the verification email, and click the provided link to verify your email address. If you did not receive the email, click Resend the verification email.
