I want to be able to:
I sell photo and camera classes. Small groups 6 to 8 people at a time.
• Book classes and sell gift certificates from the same source so I can have an accurate roster count with the relevant data (sign-up info etc) each time a sale is made. OSCommerce did this pretty well AND it was set up to update the seat count as well as
• link to a wait list when the class was full.
• I recall that that each class also had a tandem option for a gift certificate for that class, which in retrospect was pretty darn cool compared to bizarre work around I had to do in MindBody, and the extra curricular gymnastics I now need to do with the event plug-in (used for booking classes) and form plug-in (for selling gift certificates) plug-ins now active in my DIVI word press site.
• I want to be able to adjust the class available number for extenuating circumstances. Dog Died, broke a femur etc. I did this in OSC all the time, I miss it! I want to be able tp put a class on hold if need be.
• I want to be able to offer discounts/coupon codes on specific classes and possibly a global option on all products.
• IN the setup I want a friendly interface that is also malleable so I can make my data harvesting efficient and easy to view. I use this sale data to set up my rosters in iCal for the class dates, with name, camera, address phone and email, and what they like to shoot, where they found me. OK nosey nosey nosey! that’s me!
• needs to work well with PayPal, with some way of tracking incomplete transactions.
• Email confirmation on sales for me the seller and for my clients. If I can make the Client email confirmation pretty and elegant then the better life will be. Adding a gift certificate page layout option to this would be epic, because now I generate them in Illustrator individually for each purchase and am always in fear I have forgotten someone.
