Overview:

My project is building a website that empowers Acappella communities all over the world. There are lots of talented singers and amazing vocals out there today. One can perform a perfect solo and everybody owns his/her unique tone of voice, like a special musical instrument that can not be duplicated elsewhere in the world. Now it is time to put vocal singing into a group of fun, Acappella. I want to build this platform so that all fans of Acappella or people who love to sing in groups can share their Acappella performance videos, audios and most importantly their own creation or rearrangement of the songs and music pieces they love. With more of sharing resources of Acappella arrangement of songs and music, we are providing the “map” when we want to travel in the world of Acappella, it is the direction of where the magical collaboration should go, it is the script of a play that tells how these exciting plots should show, it is the core powerful content that shares the spirit of each music composer would like to deliver in their arrangement of music.

All Acappella fans can share their own or their groups’ Acappella performance, they can find group members online no matter where they are or whether they have known each other offline or not. Even if they are physically apart from each other in different countries, people can still find the voice they want for the Acappella pieces they would like to perform, and let the world hear and enjoy the power of Acappella and power of harmony.

Another current issue of the Acappella community today is that we do not have a clear idea of such a community. We have smaller groups from different institutions, fans, etc everywhere, but there is no platform or organizations that unites all of us together. It is needed that we should have a platform that could allow all the existing groups have a place to present the moments when the magic of harmony sparks, also attract more of the talented vocals who never get into Acappella to be able to try and love this different way of vocal presentations, and make Acappella become more popular now and widely known daily activities among younger/future generations.

I wish more people could enjoy the touching moments of creating the magic of harmony together.
