Redesign and refresh our website

Our website is a few years old now and is need of a refresh. Our business is very much about creating 'wow' experiences and creativity is a big part of the service we provide to our clients. Our website needs to be eye-catching whilst classy and easy to navigate. Guests visiting our website need to be wowed within the first few seconds of landing on the home page the site should be SEO friendly and it is likely that we will employ someone to manage our ongoing SEO requirement the new site (subject to a separate arrangement). The new site should be dynamic (in the same way that our current site has movement and dynamism). We will certainly look to simplify our existing site (it currently has quite a bit of duplication and replication) Images and visuals are a big part of what we do and this should be reflected in our site. We are looking to change the focus of our site slightly into a slightly different area of our industry - we are currently focussing on corporate events -parties, conferences and launches. We want to re-position ourselves into the corporate incentive and rewards travel market and we would expect our designer to have an understanding of our industry (the Event Management and MICE industry), and marketplace. We work with number of the Worlds leading quality brands and also provide events for high net-worth clients - this quality must be reflected in the site. The site will essentially be our shop window and must demonstrate our capabilities and create a 'buzz' and excitement about working with us. We expect the design stages to be the most difficult stage of the process - creating the right 'statement' about us and setting us apart from our competitors. We will look for considered responses that demonstrate an understanding of what we are looking for and ideally someone that has experience of working with events agencies and ideally someone that has worked with incentives agencies in the past. We like the 'rockstar' approach - making the clients feel like rockstars! Our current site is 'clunky' and as stated probably has significant duplication so we will be looking for someone to clean up the functionality and message of the site. W need to frequently update the site with photographs and probably going forward , video. Additionally we may want to have 'news' and updates so the site should be easy to update for someone that is not a frequent user of CMS systems. The site should comply with all the latest algorithms etc to ensure that it doesn't get blocked from viewing (our current site says 'this site is not secure' and is blocked on some browsers) The site is currently a wordpress site but we have used concrete 5 in the past - we are happy to look at alternatives if there is a valuable benefit. Multiple photo galleries are an important feature. We will provide a few competitor website addresses to look at that we like to help the successful designers We need the designer to help with keywords, meta data etc We would consider a change in logo if the successful partner suggest something that we think works for us . Whilst we have indicated a budget , this is something that can be modified if we feel that value of changing it is worthwhile. Typically we would respond to requests and questions etc overnight (GMT time) and there is no rush to complete the work - we would rather spend more time to get absolutely the right product. we also use mailchimp and weber to send email shots so we would want to use the website design own our mail shots so some allowance should be made for creating a monthly newsletter e-shot broadcast provider template. Largely the content is on our existing site but needs some updating and also a slight shift in emphasis as discussed earlier. Any 'template' or cut and paste responses that dont show an understanding of what we are looking for will be immediately rejected. any questions will be answered as quickly as possible.
