Proposal for Website with Ebay API Stock Integration.

1. We need a “Stock Control Module” that updates both website and our Ebay Store in real time – if an item sells on either site it will need adjusting on the other.

Additional Information:

a. Each item has a stock number which appears on Ebay under the custom field. The website will also contain this number.

2. We need a module, “Ebay Listing to Website Convertor Module” that can take a Turbo Lister format listing (Ebay Listing) and “translate” it into a website listing.

2.1 The module will need programming that takes specific elements of Ebay Listings and then “translates” them into website listings.

2.2 This module will need to take Ebay Listings and strip out all Ebay specific references and design html.

2.2.1 It may be that you can access the Ebay listings via the Ebay API then convert them to Website Listings – your expertise needed) – we suspect it may have to be done via Turbolister (see Additional Information below):

Additional Information:

a. We will supply a before and after set of examples in html (Turbo Lister html and the website html we require from it).

b. We have an excel sheet that does something similar as an example, but would prefer a database to do the work. This module will be needed on an ongoing basis.

c. Turbo Lister will be the software that is used to generate the listings initially on Ebay, which are then copied to the website.

Turbolister is a special piece of software that Ebay supplies that creates Ebay Listings, our listings will always go on to the Ebay site first.

We have to access the data from Turbolister for our website listings, as it is the only way to get all of the information from Ebay as far as we can tell.

3. Website to have the following functions:

3.1 Paypal Express Payments

3.2 Google Checkout

3.3 Google Base Connectivity (automatic updating)

3.4 Bulk upload module

3.5 This will need to be able to automatically create new categories (i.e. Chinese Porcelain, Japanesne Porcelain) on the website (to be discussed) and use the old Ebay Shop Categories as a reference automatically.

Additional Information:

a. We will supply the Initial Website Categories and Tree Structure.

3.6 Zone Shipping Rates for parcels under 2kg (three zones, Gt Britain, Europe, Rest of the World will need implementing.

3.7 Oversize Parcel Module

3.7.1 A module that can take a box reference number instead of weight and insert the postage cost into the website postage database.

Additional Information:

a. There are over 20 different variations of postage costs that will need to be covered.

3.8 Shipping Rate Calculator (So customer can select own country and receive shipping rates live on website).

3.9 Multiple Currency Support (website will be default - US Dollars).

3.10 Easily controlled Back End Management and fully editable Email Templates (Emails to have logos inserted)

3.14 A “Make Offer” facility, where customer can suggest or negotiate a price on an item, which we can refuse or accept via the website console, (email notifications required).
