Mission Statement: Help individuals dismantle subconscious divides, by connecting diverse individuals using shared interests to foster organic, genuine interactions.
Purpose: Dismantle subconscious racial and cultural divides. Icebreaker to engage diverse individuals based of shared interest(s).
Phase 1:
Create a responsive website as a platform for diverse individuals to subscribe, meet, network, and engage on various diversity activities and topics such as diversity awareness, diversity tolerance, diversity acceptance and diversity inclusion.
The platform should allow to manage an account hierarchy (admin, content publishers, mentor (super-user) members, mentee (regular) members).
Offer diversity mentor-mentee programs functionality to guide members with less diversity experience and evaluate the program success after members have completed prescribed diversity related activities. Diversity badges at different levels will be awarded upon successful completion of the program.
Offer calendar functionality to support “in person” activities associated with promoting diversity- such as hosting cultural, campus events, musical and/or culinary festival to bring together diverse individuals with common interests and learn about our differences and makes us unique.
Implement a virtual library where members can assess/read/download educational materials on diversity.
Implement blog functionality: certain users should be able to post different articles for different type of members.
Phase 2:
Implement forums functionality: when chat is not available, members should be able to post comments/discussions on different topics through a forum discussion.
Implement chat functionality: members should be able to discuss diversity related topics and networking opportunities through chat rooms.
Implement functionality to allow company to host conferences/teleconferences about promoting diversity by bringing together diversity experts worldwide for munities learning.
Implement functionality to allow company to host corporate training about the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace by partnering with renowned institutions.
Implement functionality to host educational and speaking engagement programs dedicated to pre-kindergarten through high school by working with school’s leadership.
Phase 3:
Implement shopping cart functionality to allow company to promote & sell promotional products.
Implement functionality to offer diversity tailored travel package for members to experience diversity in a different context by partnering with travelling agencies dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and cultural learnings. Be able to charge different fees based on the membership level.
Implement functionality to schedule diversity happy hour (in person or virtually) where a diversity fun topic will be announced, and participants can interact and/or network and learn organically. Be able to charge different fees based on the membership level.
Implement functionality to host a podcast or a talk-show for diversity topics. Including short educational documentaries highlighting the benefits of a diverse and inclusive community.
Be able to offer job placement services by partnering with recruitment agencies dedicated to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Be able to offer/schedule a Diversity Walk Day, including Diversity Challenge Day dedicated to education communities about the merit of diverse community.
Phase 4:
Implement mobile app.
> Open for CRM platform recommendations that could integrate with our web/app solutions.
> Open for hosting solutions.
> Open for development platform/open source solutions.
