I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - for the model you want, I will go with a laser/waterjet cutting core, with the tube welded and side/top/bottom covers which to fit onto the core assembly 2 - based on the electronic modules you have, battery pack and the other elements will be possible to create "pockets" inside the case 3 - the trigger should have (for realistic feeling) the spring and also that specific "click"... (i've designed a substitute trigger for an AR15R just for this purpose) 4 - if space allows could be inserted an electrical recoil mechanism 5 - the whole assembly is advisable to have "fire by fire", "semi-automatic" and "automatic" firing selector For any more questions we could chat here.
