Hello,
I have 4 years of professional experience related to system design and embedded software development in the area of robotics. In my previous job I worked as the technical leader of a team, whose task was to develop a reconnaisance system based on a micro-class UAV (quadrotor).
Right now I am striving to grow my own business with aim of providing engineering and consulting services in the areas of robotics and embedded systems.
My experience comes from working on UAV's various subsystems: an IMU unit, an autopilot, a FOC-based BLDC motor controller, an electro-optical payload stabilisation system, as well as a wearable robotic device, all of which were based on STM32 microcontrollers. I had been tasked with implementing various peripheral drivers for sensors interaction and data acquisition (ADC, I2C, SPI, One-Wire and various serial interfaces), as well as drivers for fast, real-time communication (>5 Mbps RS-485, CAN, UART/RS-232), as well as data processing algorithms (e.g. extended Kalman filters, least squares-based estimators). Solutions I created have been implemented in proof-of-concept and prototype units, and have been labeled as production-ready.
I would be glad to discuss the specifics of your system with you and answer any questions that may arise.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Piotr Juda
