Solve Regex problem in Python 2.7

I have a regular expression issue to settle:
1) I have a string which I only wish to extract the transcript - {[{"alternatives": [{"confidence": 0.7052744, "transcript": "Toledo come from"}]}, {"alternatives": [{"confidence": 0.94460905, "transcript": " hello hello"}]}, {"alternatives": [{"confidence": 0.97388196, "transcript": " hello"}]}]}
2) I want to extract all the text of the transcript
3) If there are multiple, extract them out into a full string

This is relatively simple regex but I wonder, if input is JSON, why not use json library available in Python?

Hello. You input string seems like valid JSON. I can write regular expression to extract all words after "transcript", but it will be easier and more robust to use any JSON parser to extract required data.
