I need a .Net programmer (C#) familiar with building apps with DocX .Net library

Hi there, The reuqirements are quite clear and straightforward to implement. As mentioned in the docs interop is a thing of past decade. ooxml is too low level hence should be avoided as long as it's not the only option. I had to use it a couple of times and I can assure you it's really not fun working with office docs at the xml level and ooxml is just a thin wrapper object model around it. So DocX looks like just the library you need but based on my experience the problem with such open source libraries dealing with office products usually have too many bugs and fails unexpectedly even for the most basic tasks. I haven't used it before so can't say anything for sure but if it fails we have to rely on ooxml. Anyway, I just need the sample file from your end to start. I suppose you will handle the stored procedure/database part and you only expect a C# class exposing a method which accepts the word file path and a list of image paths to be put in place of placeholders, also a list of destination paths to save the output word document. Please let me know if I'm supposed to handle more than that, like creating the database, stored procedure, web page, ect. This should be ready in 4 days at most. If we have to use ooxml the deadline might change and also I might incur additonal costs since it'll require more effort, thanks.

have you considered creating a pdf dynamically with itextsharp? I normally work with this library so would recommend this approach

The workflow you highlighted will need some modifications as stored procedure cannot fire a Docx object, it will have to be implemented within the code (C#).
