- use C++ 17 - WinAPI only - must be compatible with Windows 7 + Capture the content of a window that is currently visible on the desktop and encode it lossless. Tool should be able to save it as .mkv file playable with VLC. Use [login to view URL] for encoding. Sourcecode should be well documented and written as a tutorial for all steps (standard programming practices don't need to be documented). Especially the encoding part must be very well documented. Encapsulate everything in classes for easy use. Frames per second should be variable and customizeable by the developer. Optional CUDA (nVidia) support for encoding.

Hello I am pretty interested in this task, your requirements should be clear enough as per the description. I can work out this capturing tool using WinAPI and test it on Windows 7+, also the documentation and tutorial steps are not a problem for me! Furthermore I would be personally interested on the CUDA encoding aspect, I have previously worked with nCuvid module and I understand its benefits, however I also understand why this is an optional task. p.s. One question, is it a strict requirement for you the use of C++ ? regards, Thanassis
