British Lawyer

We are looking for a Lawyer to join our team! Timezone: GMT+1 Job description: -Must have a law degree from a recognized university. -Must be admitted to a recognized bar. -Must have 5+ years of experience gained in a large law firm and/or in-house with a major firm. -Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. -Strong negotiating skills with both legal and financial/commercial issues. -Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the organization’s legal department and across all businesses. -Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​Responsibilities: -Providing accurate, relevant and timely advice to your employer and other members of staff on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business sector and their products or services. -Drafting, reviewing and executing various commercial contracts and agreements on behalf of the company. -Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals. -Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures. -Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business. -Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company. -Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors. -Staying up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect your business and specific industry. -Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company -Liaising with senior members of staff and Advising executives within the company -Providing training to the company on legal topics
