Hello,
Context: bike racing/riding in cooler weather/in descents
Why such accessory?: provides extra core warmth (covers the chest area) low cost and easier to put on and take off than a vest whilst under way.
I am looking for someone to assist me with designing a chest protector ( that would be windproof/warm ( thin windproof fleece?) and relatively stiff so that it stays up under a cycling jersey but small enough to be taking out and shoved in the back pocket of the jersey. It should also be convenient enough to be pulled up under the jersey in a cycling descent and up in a hill or when the cyclist is feeling warmed up.
Back in the old days, cyclists used newspaper. I envisage the frontside of the product to possibly simulate the front page of an old cycling newspaper.
So far, the most suitable fabric sample I have found is the following:

Holds itself and is non stretch. No hem.
Minus the camo design which I' m not keen on.
