Website - Create New URLs and Move Current HomePage - New HomePage must be SEO friendly

We would like to engage professional services in helping us upgrade our current website. At the moment the site is quite closed. We want it to be more of a brochure type home page designed more for potential and existing clients to go on and see exactly what we do and offer. Per the project title, we would like to keep most of the current content but create new URLs [and content]. As a result of the revamp we require a new homepage that is SEO friendly and can direct users to both new and old pages [and content] more easily. To guide the chosen web designer, we will provide a site map and vision of what the revamped website will resemble; creative freedom will remain with the web designer so that the SEO aspects are not violated.
