PHP Competition maker (Multiple Round Robin tournaments)

We’re organizing a yearly indoor competition for over 150 teams dividend in poules of 9 to 12 teams (we prefer poules of 12 teams but in some cases that isn’t possible). We’re a foundation called SRZA and organize the competition for almost 40 years now. For the last 15 years we use an application to create the several competitions. For the last 5 years we do more and more web based and most functions of the application have been replaced or renewed web based. The last function to decommission the application is this script/function. More in depth info: - We receive a list with rental hours of several sport halls in town, we use four sport halls through town and we start with our games at 19:00 (6 games per shift) or 20:30 (4 games per shift). - Rental list can be easily created in excel and I want it to import it via a webpage to the database (MySQL), the script import the dates and create game moments. Like a game at 19:00 and 19:42 (the game duration is 40 minutes and we have 2 minutes in between) - Once all above has been arranged I want the script to create the round robin tournament with the variable to set how many late games (after xx:xx hours) can be played per team/Poule We do not have the source code of the application nor the algorithm that’s used to organise the tournaments as they are done today but I do have the outcome.
