I have written a shipping module for zen cart using the Australia Post API. I have two scripts for the module. One for domestic shipping and one for international shipping.
The module shows the correct options using the shipping estimator in the zen cart checkout. The module also shows the correct options in step one of the checkout. The problem is when the customer gets to step 3 of the checkout. The shipping option always reverts back to the most expensive option.
I have fixed the problem in the domestic shipping module script, but I can't get it to work for the international shipping version.
To fix the problem in the domestic shipping script I changed the script:
From this:
function quote($method = '')
{
global $db, $order, $cart, $currencies, $template, $parcelweight, $packageitems;
To this:
function quote($method = '')
{
global $db, $order, $cart, $currencies, $template, $parcelweight, $packageitems;
$module = substr($_SESSION['shipping'], 0,6);
$method = substr($_SESSION['shipping'],7);
I can't get this to work in the international shipping version of the script.
If someone can fix the bug in the international version of the script it would be much appreciated.
I can send you the files, ftp access and zen cart admin access if you need it.
