Background: The City Energy Analyst is a tool fully written in Python under MIT License. [login to view URL] Problem: There are a couple of User Stories that need some solution. All of them address the need for a new cross-platform installer of CEA (I.e., Windows, and Mac OX) Vision: We envision the development of a Cross-platform installer of CEA. The installer should prompt to the user the next options. 1. Indicate where CEA will be installed. 2. Repair existing installation of CEA 3. Do a fresh installation of CEA. 4. Install the latest version of CEA. 5. Install the Developer version of CEA. User Stories related: As a practitioner I need a robust and easy installation for CEA #1092 Deliverables: Installer of CEA for Windows. Installer of CEA for Mac OX Source code of both installers. March 01

Hi. My name is Raúl Fernández. I am an engineer, graduated from an Energy Diploma at the Energetic Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble and have worked as an information systems architect. I would like to offer you my service as a Windows desktop application programmer. For years I have used both Delphi and C ++ but in recent years I prefer Python for its elegance and expressiveness. In this last language I have used mainly the IDES of JetBrain (PyCharm) and Microsoft Visual Studio (my favorite) but also in Netbeans 8.1 and of course with IDLE. The applications that I have developed are generally business with intensive use of database servers (SQL Server, SQLLite, MySQL). As a graphic interface I prefer Tkinter / Tcl. And I have worked with numerous libraries. On the web I use Django. Although his proposal is very interesting, I think it would be important to clarify:. All the use case necessary are the OS installations. What IDE is used for development ?. As an extra you could model, if you wish, with UML the application in some case tool .
