I will be starting up a spa in Cape Town, therefore I will need a website to be made, as well as a software to be used internally which suits my needs. Brief and requirements as follows:
Website:
- Has following tabs - home, treatment menu, products, gallery (maybe) and contact us.
- Home tab being simple, having a picture of the spa and a call-to-action button - eg. make an appointment now.
- Treatment menu tab allowing customers to book directly when selecting a treatment. Basic booking inputs are date, time, treatment selected, number of people and any special needs. This booking system needs to be linked to the internal app/programme.
- Products tab as an e-commerce form, where customers will be able to purchase products online.
- Contact us tab having contact details such as phone number, address and trading hours, as well as a map for location and contact form submission.
Software / programme / web-based app:
- Linked to the online booking system, and being able to manage bookings, i.e. entering and cancelling new bookings, assigning therapist, sms reminders, client details (if applicable). Can give a summary of number of bookings per hour, per day, per week, per month, per therapist and per type of treatments.
- Be able to keep a record of client profiles - personal details and visit history. Client profile also needs to be linked to a loyalty system where clients will have a loyalty card with money preloaded onto the card/account, and apply discounts at point of sale. Cards to be read from an external card reader, but also having the option to search for that specific client's profile using cell number, surname, etc.
- Keep stock tracking, for both treatment usage and sales.
- Staff work shifts and commission calculation.
- Would be nice if simple reports could be generated as well, such as revenue generated per day, per week, per month, per therapist, per type of treatments, etc.

it will be designed and developed in WordPress with woocommerce integrated.
A customized theme and plugins will be used for the purpose.
