Hello! My name is Brett, and I am looking for a reliable and skilled web developer to create a WordPress plugin which will function to allow users to obtain and manage online reviews. This will be a plugin that will be modeled on an existing plugin, which I will provide upon request. The plugin will have the following features (among others, to be discussed further with freelancer): 1) The ability to activate the plugin using a license key. 2) The "end product" of this plugin will be a "landing page" which is displayed to the end user, which allows the user to choose from one of two options (thumbs up or thumbs down). 3) When thumbs up is selected, end user is taken to a page with a form where they can submit their review. After review is submitted, end user is taken to a page with images/links to a variety of online review links (customizable by the admin user in the admin panel of WP). This page should also replicate the end user's previously-submitted review so that they can easily copy & paste it after clicking on the review site links. 4) When thumbs down is selected, end user is taken to a page which says "Thank You For Your Feedback" and has a form which allows the end user to answer some questions about their "bad" experience. This form is sent to an email address customizable by the admin user in WP admin panel. 5) The ability to use shortcodes (for the admin user) to automatically display submitted reviews on a website. This plugin will likely be customized further, with new features added before being launched, but I would like to get this project started and then go from there, depending on the quality of the freelancer's work. Hello Brett, What i understand after go through your project description, You want a plugin which work with any other plugin and have following functionality. Need new custom plugin with the facility of License key In end of the plugin page have a landing page which give a facility to user with two type of option called thumbs up and thumb down. Thumb up redirect to the page where user a have a facility to give rating and there views after submitting the form they again redirect to the page where they see different type of rating and rating given by them , they have a facility to copy and paste. Thumb down will redirect them to page where they have facility write their bad experience. this section send the reviews to the admin pre set email account. Admin have a facility of wp shortcodes to display this review to any page Please correct me if I misunderstood anything or missing something from you basic requirement. I have a some basic quires over the basic understanding of the projects: 1. Plugin have a license key facility means user have to purchase the plugin before use. and we have to put checking for the authenticate license key. Right? 2. Any specific type of plugin will target by our plugin or it will will work for each and every type for giving the rating. Wordpress plugin for the users review can be coded. The plugin will function as follows: a. To display a landing page to the user and user can choose thumbs up or down b. if thumbs up is selected, to shown a form to submit the review. c. Once the form is submitted, to display the pge with links to a variety of online review links d. User can copy paste their review to the review sites. e. If thumbs down is selected, user will be shown a form where he can answer some questions on his bad experience. f. The submission will be sent to admin configured email g. The very first thing we would like to do is to review the existing plugin on which this plugin will be modeled. What that would do is, we would have something in front of our eyes to look at and understand how exactly this is going to work out so that takes all the questions and explanations out of the window. The second thing is when you say "The ability to activate the plugin using a license key", do you mean the end user has to purchase the plugin to use? We get it that the plugin wont work unless its activated using the license key. But the question is how will the end user get the license key? How can we keep track of the last review submitted by that specific user? So somewhere down the line the user has to be "logged in", and then only we can pull the last review he/she submitted from his account or else we dont see how we're going to track the last review submitted by that particular end user. We would like to get into more details. We would appreciate if you can initiate the PM for further detailed discussion. Await your response.
