Zamolxis Interactiv SRL is an European game development company (see RAC coder account for Zamolxis Interactiv's owner). We are looking for a pixel artist for our latest mobile game on the BREW platform. The artist must guarantee original work! The bid will only be considered if the artist can provide relevant samples of previous work. The side benefits for the artist will be the inclusion of his/her name in the game's cover image, work offers for future games, and a negociable share of the revenue made on this game. The actual sprites have the following characteristics: 1. 32x24 and 16x16 pixels main sizes; 2. 8 bit/pixel and 16 bit/pixel color depth. They are organized as: 1. 20 alien creatures; 2. 50 wall/floor sprites; 3. 30 larger objects; 4. 10 special effects; 5. 1 large splash image (128x128 pixels). The actual number of sprite may be negociated up to a point. The game design is heavily based on a Science-Fiction theme, as you can see from the above lines. The alien sprites have simple animations (4-directional walking and interacting), the rest are static sprites except for several objects that show simple effects (flickering light points on a machine for example). We will provide the details after we choose the artist. See the attached .zip file in order to understand the required level of quality. Please treat the samples with complete confidentiality and do not transmit them further or use them in any other way than assessing the required quality level! The development deadline is flexible and the artist may ask for reasonable delays.
