description. i need an add auction system that auctions ad space for different advertisers. platform: linux, php into flash, mysql.
1. autopost system, when the advertising auction closes, the advertising space reopens with a new ad slot and another 7 day closing
window.
2. maxbid. The advertiser can set a max bid. And any bids until his max are not the high bidder.
3. top two bids win. the top bidder's chooses a morning or afternoon spot, prebid and his preference is awaded
4. advertiser needs the capability to choose which slot he wants, morning or afternoon. he chooses this pre-bid.
5. no reserve prices. no reserve price bidding
6. 24hours before the auction closes we need to place a hold on customers credit card the amount of the bid on that persons credit, to
verify that advertiser can pay for this. If the bid is placed within 24hrs of closing the hold on the account is placed then. it is released
after the bid is over if the advertiser didnt win. only one hold no matter how much the winning bid is, so for example if the
advertiser bids $80 and he rebids and wins at $100, only $80 hold is placed until he wins the bid whereby we will charge him $100. 7.
ability for the advertiser to select a bid update at certain intervals ( for example email update 1 minute, 5 minutes before auction
closing, 1hr before closing or 24hrs, the email will contain the winning bid amounts the winning bidder's usernames
8. ability to post a maximum and applicable time range. for example advertiser X can bid $80 for week 1, week 4 & week 6.
9. opt-in opt out for outbid notice to email
10. countdown clock to the millisecond.
11. admin can set the starting bid for the ad slot.
12. search for ad slots, and bids
13. email notice to auction winner.
14. sort ads.
