Build a Website

This project is for you to complete a Word Press site and installation to replace our current site. [login to view URL] This will be on the “Responsive” theme. ( an upgrade to the paid template is possible as there are more Colors, & Layout options possible.) The complete specifications will be included in a graphic attached to this project proposal. As a summary we will just be copying the links and text from the various areas of our current site. ( changing the photos used which we will supply) and creating a few new top level categories with sub categories as required. This should be a fairly simple project for a web designer familiar with the WP format. Time is of the essence on this project, so the successful bidder will be able to schedule their work very quickly for this simple site. - As this will be a quick project – the ONLY milestone will be the final payment when the site is completed and installed on our host. – See our feedback to know we are a reputable firm using the services of this Freelancer site. Categories to include: Home, About Us, Quilting Systems, Learning Center, Contact us, Free Stuff, Store Your goal of this creation and installation is to create a site that is Not the look of a standard WP site. In fact you will remove WP references from each pages footers. This is to be a “White Label” installation, so No additional developer advertising will be desired. The About us will be copied from the current site Quilting Systems – Will be copies from our current site. A few photo changes, and corrections will be desired. ( we will complete the text corrections). There will be a FAQ section added as the top sub category of this section ( It will be copied from the current FAQ exactly) The learning Center has several sub categories. Quilting Systems, Design software, and Tech support. Each of these sub categories will have a page(s ) that will be links to You Tube videos. The video preview windows need to be side by side ( 2 per row) and have a Title enabled above each video. ( This needs to be a simple back end interface for us, to just place the URL ( or embed HTML) into , with the title, and have the page display it correctly.) – Some of these sub categories will have 50 videos or more available. So a clean, professional look is essential Contact us will have two sub categories. General Information, Service Desk General information will have 2 categories. – Sales, Warranties The Service desk will have 2 sub categories Parts and service, & Tech Support ( Each of these pages will have a FORM that will allow the customer to place a request for contact thur email support. The Free stuff category will REQUIRE the user to include their contact info into a form to access the information within. These will all be downloads of specifications, price list, tools, and more. This form will also have them agreeing to receive a newsletter subscription. Store – The store category will need to be a simple and clean look. Easy to list, and have the ability to offer NO COST digital downloads of goods in the shopping cart. This site is more informational than sales based, so this area while required is not the primary point of this site. Widgets - One final area of the site is the Widgets. We desire to have a limited classified advertising section available on this site. One widget will be dedicated to USED Quilting system sales. ( these will be paid ads from those whom wish to place them.) We need to control thru our back end the duration, placement, and categories within this classified advertising tool. The 2nd widget will be a simple advertising link banner to our calculation tool website. The 3rd widget will be for upcoming events, and announcements. We will need the ability to grow this site and to change content over time. This is why we desire to use the Word Press platform, as we will be able to add the pages and new tools if we ever need to in the future.
