Our small coin shop has finally decided (preliminarily anyway) to use the Akopia InterChange website system for our new online shop. We are looking for a website designer who is familiar enough with InterChange that they will be able to modify both the look, the functionality, and the code to fit our needs. The cart is already installed on our system. The coder will be give full access to the cart admin panel and possibly to the file manager if needed. The following are a list of modifications that we forsee needing: 1. Setup the category list so that it functions correctly. 2. Setup the two expandable sub-catagory items on the list that will display a) alphabetical listings of emperors (when the emperor's name is chosen, his page will pop up with html info about him and the coins we have in the database) and b) chronological listings - we'll provide the list of name in both orders. Instructions need to be provided so that we can add more pages as necessary. 3. Modify the way photos are displayed - currently it is setup in a table of three columns |photo|description|price - this works fine for our artifact listing and would like to keep it, but for coins we prefer a table with two rows - one column on the top and two on the bottom |photo| |description|price|. Hope you get the idea. 4. Modify the look of the site to be more comfortable and collector oriented. This entails changing some of the backgrounds and button. Also, instead of a product saying "Out of Stock" we prefer "Sold" and instead of "Shopping Cart" we prefer "Coin Bag", etc. 5. Database will be MySQL driven and not TXT file driven - for added flexibility. Visit these pages to get a better idea: [login to view URL] - our html page [login to view URL] - our futile attemp at building a cart What we require: 1. Any work that is outside of the scope of this bid will be compensated through either an RAC bid or bonus (or per RAC policy). 2. All passwords and names for databases, other pertinet data will be submitted to us. 3. Good communication - we want the site to work for us and we want you to make some good, easy money. If you listen well the first time and ask a lot of good questions (we are less than newbies), we can both profit from this exchange. I will respond to you and expect your responses with a reasonable amount of time (i.e. 12 to 24 hours)
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) A fully functional shopping system. The coder will upload all necessary files or send them to us to upload via FTP. The cart must be 100% functional and the overall design must be inline with what we do and reqested the coder to do. Also a 30 to 60 day "bug fixing" and tech support warranty must be provided. 3) A fully secure ordering system - we will provide the SSL and the cart - the coder needs to setup the pages to be run through the SSL. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
Linux/Apache 1.3/PHP/MySQL/SSL
## Deadline information
Initial availability of the cart so we can start entering products should be up by January 13, 2003. If this is unreasonable, just let us know.
