This entire bid is based on the ease-of-use of the backend/content management system, so please show examples of other backends you have done—simple portfolios are of no interest. Those without examples of the CMS or other backend systems that they have created will have their bids disqualified. This is going to be a community site for fiction, fanfiction, and original writers. People will login and browse through categories to read, rate, review and upload stories of their own. There will also be an ecommerce portion of the site, so a simple eCommerce system will be necessary. This should be a database-driven site that can change skins. We would prefer to use Mambo and other forms of shareware to keep the operational expenses low.
