Image processing - editing - for product display online

We are an online store selling collectable items, postage stamps among others. We are looking for a freelancer who would process scanned images of philatelic items (postage stamps, souvenir sheets, commemorative envelopes) in order to prepare them for display in our online shop. You will be asked to do such processing and editing in line with our standards. The plan of our cooperating looks as follows: 1. We send you a folder with raw files in PSD format via WeTransfer - those are scans images in 600 dpi. 2. Each scan will represent one product for sale. It could be a single stamp, a set of stamps, a set of stamps and souvenir block(s), a single souvenir sheet, a set of envelopes, a single envelope etc. 3. Separately, we will supply you with a standard background which we use for our presentation pictures. 4. You need to cut out the stamps or souvenir sheets or envelopes and transfer them onto the supplied background. 5. As the stamps do not stand straight on the scans, you need to rotate them to straighten them. 6. Some retouch will be needed, about which we will give you detailed instructions. 7. The image with cut out, straighten and retouched stamps should be saved as PSD (each stamp in separate layer). 8. Then you need to prepare a series of presentation illustrations in JPG or PNG format. The 2nd landscape illustration of predefined size always show the whole set for sale. If there are many stamps in the set, the subsequent illustrations (also landscape, of the same size as the 2nd one) show parts of the set, so as to allow the client to see more details. The 1st illustration is the most fun to do: it is square, also of predefined size, but showing the set of stamps on a background which is derived from one of the stamps, so your creativity will matter when creating this picture. The preparation of all illustrations includes some manipulation with levels and sharpening tools in Photoshop. 9. You send us back all illustrations, together with the raw PSD file which you prepared in Step 7 above. As the stamps have perforated edges, cutting them out requires you to use certain tools, i.e. magic wand. Also, the nature of the material (philatelic items) requires you to be smart on retouch, which we will be constantly monitoring. Some PSD files supplied by us will have additional and easy to understand instructions. Although the task looks difficult at the first glance, with little practice the job becomes easy, enjoyable and even relaxing. Also, with time you will require less and less instructions, because you will understand our needs more. Some sets will be easier to do (single stamps, single envelopes etc.) and some more time consuming (sets of many stamps). That's why payment per hour is a fair way to go. From our experience, we know what to expect. We need to review our cooperation after a week or so to see, whether both sides - you and us - are satisfied. You need to have very good Photoshop skills, Photoshop CC program, PC or laptop which is able to process files up to a few hundred MBs. We attach some files to make you understand our needs better. The first file is a copy of PSD file which you will receive (it is marked with "PSD FILE" in yellow), and the rest of the files represent images for display online - you are expected to achive such results. Our cooperation can last for as long as you wish.
