We have a monitoring hardware that acts as a gateway to the internet and runs on top of the hardware: [login to view URL]
Currently the system is sending data to a server in the cloud approximately every second. This server is responsible for both receiving the data. The SW of the cloud is currently in development.
The FW in the embedded module monitors and sends. It works in a basic way, although it would be necessary to refactor code since there are hard-coded things, surely errors, architecture and structures that could be improved, etc.
In addition to the refactoring, it should be done:
1. - Finish the web configuration (it is almost all done the backend, missing the frontend above all). Here you must configure Internet access (Wi-Fi or cable), configure the inputs and outputs, the alarms that must be triggered based on configurable parameters and ranges, and, in principle, have a "real-time" viewing page that allows to see the configuration done.
This configuration page will be made with the same template as the platform in the cloud to maintain homogeneity (based on Bootstrap)
2.- Change communication with the server in the cloud, from HTTP to MQTT messaging queues.
The biggest problem we have now is that the version of Node that is installed is 0.10.X and Node has stopped supporting the ARM that is in the Core, so Node can not be updated to the latest versions.
We need someone to clean the code, finish the web configurator and change the web communication from HTTP to MQTT.
