Create a swift function for elevation data from geoTIFF

I need a function for my iOS Swift App, that returns the elevation in meters (or feet) for a given coordinate. This function must work offline!
The elevation data must be loaded from geoTIFF files like these [url removed, login to view] (Downloading is not necessary, assume the files are already there.)
