I would like a simple data collection APP. It should gather and save data collected from the user and then send to an email as an excel file.
The user will select a value from 3 dropdown menus, i.e DD1, DD2, DD3, and then the user will enter data (numeric values). Multiple numeric values may be added for the same choice of the dropdowns. The software will keep track of those values in a table along with the values selected from the 3 dropdowns and then email it to a specified address as an excel sheet when requested. The excel shieet will have 2 columns. Column A will be DD1-DD2-DD3 and column B will be the numeric value entered by the user. SO, when the user selects a combination of DD1,DD2,DD3 he can then enter 1 or 100 items that will be with that same combo of DD1, DD2, DD3. The drop down values will be as follows:
DD1 - 01 to 30
DD2 - A or B
DD3 - 1 - 12
The app should keep track of the numeric values entered by the user, in case of duplicates and should ask the user if it should be overwritten or cancel. and the user interface should be nice but very simple, quick, and easy to enter data. if you have any questions, let me know and I will answer.
