Hi there.
I've been working with CAD tools for 7 years now. I've also worked on engineering reports for the past 6 months, some of which you can check on my portfolio on my account.
In the engineering reports I've worked on, I've followed this format:
- Abstract
- Background Information
- Problem Statement
- Objectives
- Literature Review
- Methodology
- Expected Results
- Timeline
- Budget
- References
However, from your project description, I see that you want a slightly different format, which I will adhere to.
I'd like to say that I'm slightly over-obssessive. I prefer to make (almost) perfect work, without mistakes. I go through all the references I make - I don't just list them to increase their count.
About SolidWorks:
I have used Inventor for 7 years, and only recently (9 months ago) got into SolidWorks. I will use the reporting tools in Inventor to help in creating your Word/PDF report for you.
I am a mechanical engineer trainee, but I'd also like to say, with all due humility, that I'm pretty advanced in CAD tool use as compared to my peers. I obssess about the software I use, and know a bit extra than most users.
I'm not saying that I'm the best, but I'm quite good at what I do.
If you'd like samples of my work, other than what is on my portfolio (because what's there is not all I've ever worked on), I'm available to talk.
