We are looking to enhanced our Security/Protect Bandwidth/Spammers with a SERVER BASED (maybe though apache and mod_rewrite) Masking/Cloaking URL script which in constantly showing the mask URL regardless of where you move/click within the site.
Clarification:
If I have an address: "http://www.mysite.com/mypage.htm"
Mask Url would always say "http://www.myname.com"
Responsiblly would be
(A) Install application on 1 Web Site/ or Server
(B) Must me compatible with Linux Server Client/CPanel.
(C) Explain/write direction for reused/ or how this was done.
NO script such as a main index or java ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] etc)
Please explain if you can do this on 1 Web Site/ or Server(would if effect other sites?), may lead to other projects.
Thanks
AGS
Yes, like they said the only real way would be to put it in a frame, this is no big deal at all but would take about an hour of work to get everything set up.
It can be done without frame on server side. Frame will reveal the location but server site changes wont. We are software development company based out of New Delhi, India. Mission: "To provide ontime, on budget, quality services to our clients and consistently exceed their expectations."
