Previosuly worked with TeamCity for for Continuous Integration; everything is working fine. But when I updated teamCity to version 2017.2.3 (build 51047), it isn't allowing me to login using my regular username/password; When I try to use my username and password. I get below error:
Login failed in all authentication modules with messages:
Invalid login format: domain name is required
Incorrect username or password.
Later I noticed that from installing TeamCity till up gradation, TeamCity has never asked me for any Domain Name. And that is creating the issues. As per my knowledge, this is the basic CI workflow with TeamCity;
The TeamCity server detects a change in your VCS Root and stores it in the database.
The build trigger sees the change in the database and adds a build to the queue.
The server finds an idle compatible build agent and assigns the queued build to this agent.
The agent executes the Build Steps. While the build steps are being executed, the build agent reports the build progress to the TeamCity server sending all the log messages, test reports, code coverage results, etc. to the server on the fly, so you can monitor the build process in real time.
After finishing the build, the build agent sends Build Artifices to the server.
Now, I am curious know the further details about this project. Please let me know which time will be convenient for you to have a discussion. Looking for a prompt and affirmative response by your end.
