Hello!
I can understand your struggle with fake followers. At one time they may have been helpful, but with Instagram's algorithm moving further and further towards engagement they actually cause more harm then good.
A little bit about me. I have 10 years of experience within a large online marketing agency offering social media growth services and would be happy to offer my services to your Instagram profile. I am a seasoned growth professional with a firm understanding of the legwork required to generate an organic following.
I have worked with profiles in the past to clean out fake followers. Unfortunately getting rid of the quickly isn't helpful either. Organic growth is all about scaling the activities Instagram would expect from any engaged user. That means following, unfollowing, liking, viewing stories, blocking people, and all the other things that normal people do on Instagram. For that reason removing all fake followers in one swoop would look a little strange to Instagram. For that reason I would propose identifying all the fake followers in the beginning, and then adding their removal in to the mix of activities to grow your account with new and engaged followers. That would appear much more organic so Instagram will then be more likely to suggest your content to other users.
Freelancer doesn't provide much room to get in to details about strategy in these proposals, so feel free to reach out so we can discuss further.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
