My name is Ki McGinity, I am the creative director at Grande Exhibitions. We have an interesting project that requires the skills of an illustrator.
We are creating a "show" for our new multimedia environment "Sensory4" details of the system can be seen here... [login to view URL]
Our latest "show" concept is 101 inventions that changed the world. Details can be seen here... [login to view URL]
We require an illustrator/ illustrators to create a series of illustrations (approximately 60) around storyboards we have created that loosely demonstrate how certain inventions have come to be.
Our motion effects designer will then integrate these illustrations into our feature show.
We have selected a visual style for the illustrations which can be seen in the attached document. All final illustrations are to be provided as vector eps, this is a work-for-hire and Grande will retain full copyright of all artwork produced.
As and example brief we would provide the following...
Scene description: A scene of an early Egyptian man releasing a carrier pigeon into the air.

We would want back a rough scene concept sketch, then on approval of concept a black and white "stencil" illustration in the visual style represented in the examples document attached.
The creative interpretation of the brief is very open, we aren't going to dictate how the scene is composed, as long as it suits the visual style in the examples document and depicts the scene description effectively.
Some of the scenes will only require one illustration some will need multiple depictions/angles of the same concept.
Would love to talks to you about availability to start immediately and a price per illustration based on 60+ illustrations.
