We are a startup company, based in Canada, looking to build a travel information website. It’s an ongoing project with different phases of development. We have appointed candidates in India to work on freelance basis at various levels. Job Description We are looking for an experienced .Net / MySQL programmer . Knowledge of APIs , PYTHON is also necessary in your team As database administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of clusters of MySQL instances. You will also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances. As Programmer, there are two phases of software development that has to be considered. One taking care of our website that has around 200 fields, hosted on GoDaddy and the second phase is to further develop the project as per the Company’s requirements. Responsibilities • Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations • Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. • Profile server resource usage, optimise and tweak as necessary • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders • Develop the Software further according to the Company’s requirements. • Maintain the existing Software. • Make changes to the existing Software where ever required.
